Songs of Nortlendiga Empty Songs of Nortlendiga

After a quarter century, my soul remains
Struggling to ascend the mount of aspiration
Toward a clear purpose

Suddenly, an epiphany came,
That all people of the world are kin,
Though the significance of this is unclear

And so in my bedchamber,
I occasionally weep, merely to release
What my mind contains
And unusual feelings fill me

I awaken at the rising of the sun,
Venture into the outdoors,
Inhale vigorously, and grow inspired
Whereupon I SHOUT with vengeance,
"What happens?"

And I attempt, by the gods do I attempt,
At all times I attempt, within our society

And I plead the heavens, by the gods do I plead the heavens,
With each new rising of the sun, for some twinkling of denouement.

After a quarter century, my soul remains
Struggling to ascend the mount of aspiration
Toward a clear purpose

The Ballad of Tremendous Tom:

Step softly o'er the windowsill,
For I will be near to it,
And let us join in frolic amongst flowers

Softly step from the crops,
Near the willow's cultivation land,
And let us join in frolic amongst the flowers

We shall wade deep into the flora,
And shall cast away all storms.
And should I succumb to my affection for you,
Do forgive my flirtatious advances,
And let us join in frolic amongst the flowers

A traditional Nortlendic cooking song:

Sweet cream and boiled peas
Oolong, chai, and herbal teas
Lemon curls and celery
Everybody's chicken and dumplin's

Some of them want to chew you
Some of them want to be chewed by you
Some of them want to stew you
Some of them want to be used in stew

Green beans and cottage cheese
Blueberry pie and broccoli
Raspberry swirl and collard greens
Everybody's cookin' a pumpkin
